New Moms – AnnahGrace Galindo, 20

Reporting Texas

At first, AnnahGrace Galindo wasn’t panicked about the pandemic–she was panicked about the panic surrounding it. Galindo lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and their 7-month-old son, Romi. Her mom also lives in Fort Worth and made sure to buy baby supplies in bulk for AnnahGrace and Romi before things started to sell out. Galindo says a shortage in baby products was not on her mind because it doesn’t impact everyone so she had not been hearing people talk about it but discovered that it was a real issue. Her advice to other new moms is to keep your head up and be positive.

“That’s kind of the last thing on my mind. I am not really thinking about, ‘Oh we’re going to have a shortage in formula,’ but there was. People just didn’t talk about it because it wasn’t such a big deal to people.”
